I studied art in the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, where my work was based mainly on my surroundings: a farm in County Wexford where we kept cows, horses, dogs, cats and rabbits. It was here that my love of animals developed.

I have spent many (freezing!) hours painting and drawing the farm's inhabitants from life but now I mainly work from photos to get accurate detail.

Most of my pictures and paintings are purchased as gifts and there are also those who just want to treat themselves. Either way, they always seem to get a great response, which is very satisfying!
